What is G2 Hoops all about? 
G2 Hoops is a sports marketing and event management company which specializes in providing a platform in grassroots basketball for young athletes. G2 Hoops hosts high school tournaments, camps, clinics, skill development, speaking engagement and consultation. In 2020 we branched out into merchandise space. Currently offer hats, t shirts, hoodies and crewneck sweatshirts.

What inspires the designs for your merchandise? 
Life experiences inspire me. Every piece of merchandise that is released is named after a time/event in my life. I want consumers to relate to my brand and the merchandise to remind them of something in their own lives that makes them want to support the G2 Hoops brand

How do you brand your company?
Brand identity is essential. I always want to express who I am and what makes the brand unique. I want people to immediately know when they see someone wearing G2 merchandise that it means something. I'm big on quality and that less is more. I think word of mouth is the best advertising but we have a good social media imprint.

What is your most proud professional moment thus far? 
Surviving the pandemic. So many small businesses closed their doors forever during the last 12 months and by the grace of God we have not only been able to keep the doors open but grow the business.

What is the most challenging aspect of entrepreneurship? 
The most challenging aspect of being an entrepreneur is fully understanding you eat what you kill. I think a lot of people want to become an entrepreneur without fully understanding you work around the clock.
