What inspired your love for travel?
From my earliest memories, I harbored a desire to transcend the confines of my immediate surroundings. Growing up as a teenager in the 90s, I eagerly explored various neighborhoods, seeking friendships beyond the borders of my own. This was no small feat during a challenging era in New York City's history. Each neighborhood possessed a distinct identity, and I relied on my gift of communication to seamlessly integrate into diverse communities.
During my brief stint in college, my horizons expanded even further. Visiting friends at different universities across the country exposed me to the vastness of the world. This eye-opening experience made me realize the enormity of the world beyond my immediate environment. As the chapters of my life unfolded, and I found my life partner in my current wife, our shared love for travel became an integral part of the tapestry of our existence.
Embarking on journeys has not only been a source of joy but has also woven a strong and vibrant thread into the fabric of our relationship. Traveling together has become a cherished activity, fostering the strength and excitement that define our partnership.

Tell us about your favorite trip and why.
The nine months I spent living in Thailand and exploring Southeast Asia will forever be etched in my memory. Immersing ourselves in the local community, learning their language, adopting their culinary practices, and embracing a joyous existence among the Thai people left an indelible mark on our lives. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking a fresh perspective. You need not confine yourself to familiar surroundings; instead, grab a passport and embark on the journey of starting a whole new life in another country.

What are five things people should know before traveling internationally?
1.Conduct thorough research on the country you plan to visit, including its laws and regulations at both national and city levels. Familiarize yourself with local customs, traditions, visa requirements, and create a budget to ensure a well-prepared journe

2. In budgeting, consider transportation within the city you are visiting, especially in regions with a higher currency value, such as Europe with the Euro. Learn about available public transportation options and plan your budget accordingly, or allocate funds for services like Uber when exploring tourist sites and dining.

3. Utilize your available time wisely, whether it's a one-week or two-week vacation. Visit not only major cities but also explore off-the-beaten-path locations to gain a genuine understanding of the country's culture. Popular tourist destinations may offer curated experiences, but venturing into less-frequented cities can provide a more authentic experience.

4. Choose airlines carefully and pack efficiently, particularly if you're a budget traveler. Research airlines with favorable baggage fees and consider factors like seat preferences (exit row, window, or aisle) and the type of planes used for your destination. For international flights, especially long-haul ones, prioritize comfort and avoid discomfort during extended travel periods. Packing light not only keeps baggage fees low but also enhances mobility, especially if you encounter delays or need immediate access to your belongings.

5. Prioritize comfortable footwear, especially a reliable pair of sneakers. International travel often involves extensive walking, exploring museums, and visiting various sites. Ensure your shoes provide ample comfort and style, and choose versatile outfits that complement your footwear. Taking care of your feet will enhance your overall travel experience.

How has travel impacted your life?
At the onset of the pandemic, I found myself under strict lockdown measures in Argentina. Confined to our apartment, the prohibition of outdoor activities and social interactions created a profound emptiness within me. Reflecting on my past travels, where I used to craft elaborate captions on Instagram detailing my experiences, I hesitated to share these tales of adventure during a time when my loved ones were facing challenges back home. Determined to channel my creativity constructively, I reached out to my network, seeking suggestions for something meaningful to pursue during the lockdown. This marked the beginning of my journey as a travel writer. Fast forward four years, and I have evolved into a travel writer and freelance journalist for Black Enterprise.

Describe a luxury trip in detail.
The inception of a luxury trip is variable, whether it commences with a first-class seat on the plane or is rooted in the choice of accommodation at the destination. For me, the pivotal aspect of a luxurious journey lies in the hotel selected. It starts with the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, the quality of service rendered, and extends to the hotel's rooms and amenities. A high price tag doesn't automatically equate to a luxurious experience; true luxury, in my opinion, is reflected in the considerate treatment received from establishments.
Another key component of a luxury trip is the culinary experience. What gastronomic delights are you savoring during your travels? Are you indulging in the finest offerings of the country, or are you experiencing the culinary artistry of a world-class chef in a Michelin-starred establishment?
The activities chosen during your stay also contribute to the luxury quotient. Are you embarking on private excursions with friends and family, cruising on yachts or traversing the landscapes of African countries in safari jeeps? Alternatively, perhaps you're on a couple's retreat, enjoying scented spa massages and personalized workout experiences.
Luxury, in essence, eludes a singular definition, but travelers should ponder these questions when presented with the prospect of a "luxury trip."

Where would you like to go and why?
I desire to explore different regions of Italy. Although I've visited Rome, Naples, Palermo, and Catania in Sicily, my interest now lies in witnessing the picturesque mountains of Tuscany and immersing myself in the unique culinary and oenological offerings of that particular part of the country. In addition to exploring certain coastal nations in Africa.
