Urban Arts kicks off our 2025-26 Season with a star studded conversation "Tu-bi OR NOT Tu-bi" about Streaming, Storytelling & Strategy featuring Roger Bobb, TyKecia Hayes, Vernon Snooperstar Robinson, Jerod Couch and Claudia Jordan. Moderated by Perrí Camper Rivers!
This isn't just about one platform—we're diving deep into how streaming is revolutionizing the entire landscape. Where does the budget really go? What does production value look like when the rubber meets the road? How is the game shifting across the board?

ROGER M. BOBB
Roger Bobb is the President and CEO of BobbCat Films, a film and television production company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to creating BobbCat Films, Bobb served as Executive Vice President of Tyler Perry Studios for 8 years.
Bobb is the producer of the Hulu hit series “Reasonable Doubt”. He also created and directed the TV One docu-series "Rickey Smiley For Real", the BET docu-series The Manns, the sitcoms Last Call (Bounce TV), Mann & Wife (Bounce TV) and The Rickey Smiley Show (TV One). Bobb also produced and directed the sitcoms “House of Payne (TBS)” and “Meet The Browns” (TBS). He has produced over 600 television sitcom episodes in his career and has directed over 100 episodes.
His theatrical producing credits include “For Colored Girls”, "Why Did I Get Married I & II", “Madea’s Big Happy Family” and seven other Tyler Perry films for a combined gross of over half a billion dollars. Bobb’s television film producing credits include the films “Same Time Next
Christmas” (ABC), “Life Size-2” (Freeform), and “Let The Church Say Amen” (BET) to name a few. Bobb is also a very in demand director having directed over 15 television movies of varying genres for major cable television and streaming services including the recent Hallmark films “Christmas With A Kiss” and “Sense and Sensibility” (Hallmark).
Bobb is a former DGA trainee and First AD. He has won eight NAACP Image Awards. Bobb was born in London, raised in New York and attended Brooklyn College and The School of Visual Arts.

TyKecia Hayes
TyKecia Hayes is a multifaceted creative professional with extensive experience in production and talent management. Currently serving as a Creative Producer for P.S. I Love You, LLC since June 2016, TyKecia specializes in developing original scripted and unscripted concepts, overseeing production processes, and securing funding. Additionally, TyKecia contributes to BET Networks in Talent and Casting and Talent Relations for awards shows, as well as producing the comedy web series "Happy Hour." Work with Nickelodeon includes event production for the Kids Choice Awards and Kids Choice Sports Awards. TyKecia has also held roles as a producer for Fit Fest and Complex Networks, where responsibilities included managing talent for Spotify Live podcasts. Educational credentials include a Film degree from Full Sail University and a Bachelor's degree from Hampton University.

Snoop Robinson
A Dallas native, Snoop Robinson has firmly established himself as a creative powerhouse in the entertainment industry. With a career spanning directing, producing, writing, acting, and music, Snoop’s relentless drive and creative vision have led to acclaimed collaborations and a growing legacy across stage and screen.

Snoop’s versatility shines through in both comedic and dramatic works, crafting compelling scripts, immersive stage settings, and powerful short films. His film and stage credits include award-winning and fan-favorite titles such as Her Eyes, Love and Drugs, Unexceptional Love, and hit plays like Why Women Trip, Who Are We to Judge, and Frienemies. 
In 2011, Snoop made a major impact with She’s Not Our Sister, a stage play that sold out on opening night and became the top-rated show on the Gospel Music Channel (GMC). Its success led to the network's first scripted television series, starring industry icons Kellita Smith and Jackée Harry. His work has since reached national audiences, with films that were available in Walmart and now on major streaming platforms like Netflix, Peacock, Amazon Prime and  Tubi. With more films titled "My Brother's Wife" and Do it for The gram " to name a few.
Snoop is also a respected musician and sound engineer, having once opened for the legendary Prince. His passion for the entertainment business has fueled collaborations or have worked with in so capacity with acclaimed talents including Carl Payne, Fred Hammond, Jesse Jackson, Kirk Franklin, and Clifton Powell. In 2004, he released Yearning 2 Learn, an educational music tutorial CD teaching English and Spanish.

Most recently, Snoop partnered with Super Bad Theater Group and award-winning writer Dedrick Weathersby to direct and produce Tutti Frutti – The Life and Music of Little Richard, a dynamic new musical tribute to the rock-and-roll icon. He also just wrapped production on Frienemies, a new limited series, and produced/directed JJ from the Sip’s upcoming comedy special.
Known for his authenticity, creativity, and dedication to storytelling, Snoop Robinson is a force to be reckoned with, continuing to shape and elevate the landscape of independent entertainment.

Jerod Couch
Jerod Couch is a four-time Emmy® Award-winning filmmaker from Dallas, Texas. He’s built a reputation for high-end storytelling across film, TV, branded content, and campaigns for Fortune 500s like Disney, AT&T and 7-Eleven.
A UT Austin Radio-TV-Film grad with an MBA, Jerod cut his teeth at ESPN and later led creative for the Texas Rangers before launching into indie film. He created the Daytime Emmy-nominated dramedy #WASHED, the award-winning short Meta Care, and is now co-directing his first feature documentary, Black Butterflies, while developing his debut feature film and second series.
His work has earned Emmys, Tellys, and festival honors, and has been spotlighted in Inc. Magazine, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, Deadline, and The Hollywood Reporter.

Claudia Jordan
Claudia Jordan is a  television/radio personality, actress, model, and businesswoman. Known for her many roles in reality TV, hosting, and modeling, she continues to remain a visible presence in entertainment and media. 
She first came into the public eye as a model, including being one of Barker's Beauties on "The Price Is Right" and later as a briefcase model (holding Case #1) on "Deal or No Deal." Claudia competed on multiple seasons of "Celebrity Apprentice," appeared on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" (season 7), and more recently was a contestant on "Deal or No Deal Island." 
Her TV credits include acting roles on shows like "The Bold and the Beautiful," "One on One," "Jack & Jill," and guest spots on various others. She also appears often as a guest contributor or commentator on talk shows, cable news and entertainment programming. 
As a host, she has fronted and co-hosted numerous shows. Currently, she co-hosts two talk shows on Fox Soul: "Cocktails with Queens" (alongside Vivica A. Fox, Syleena Johnson, and LisaRaye McCoy) and "Tea G-I-F" (with Al Reynolds and Funky Dineva). 
Beyond TV, Claudia has expanded into business, launching products such as handbags and cosmetics, and is active as a speaker and influencer. She has also pursued film roles and continues to act in both movie and television projects. 
Off-screen, she is passionate about fitness, fashion, beauty, cooking, interior/home design, and staying engaged in community and entrepreneurial work.
