The Irma P. Hall Black Theater Awards was founded in 2015 by DFW Black Arts. Named in honor of the legendary actress Irma P. Hall, IPHBTA was created to honor the artistic excellence in performing and technical theater for companies in the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex. Now in its 7th years, the IRMAS has honored over 350 artists, 150 productions and 20 theaters.
