Why did you become an actor?
I became an actor because it was something that I happened to be good at. Also acting on stage, film and television has always been a dream of mine.

Aside from acting, what are the other aspects of the entertainment world do you engage?
I'm also engaged in different areas of entertainment as a voice actor and musician (keyboards & vocals)

What do you do to maintain being relevant in such a competitive industry?
I've been very fortunate and extremely blessed to be a working actor in Hollywood California. I work on different productions including my own to keep my visibility up as well as doing National commercials.

Tell us about your role in the final season of "Insecure"?
My role on Insecure the 5th season of episode 3 as "Uncle Ronnie" is a character that took me back to my childhood when my uncles would come by and always leave me with a five dollar bill. Uncle Ronnie is also a well meaning man but because of his old school experience he's a little loud and a bit behind the times.

What does success look like for you?
For me success is accomplishing goals that seem so daunting and sometimes unreachable but because of dogged determination you get to see successes.

What is your ideal role and why?
My ideal role is to be the lead in my own sitcom and to portray historical figures like Jeremiah G. Hamilton (The 1st Black millionaire in America) , MLK Jr. (Civil Rights) and Phillip A. Payton Jr. (Real Estate mogul in Harlem)
