What inspired you to start Zholistic Life, and what does the name represent for you?
The inspiration for Zholistic Life came from my personal journey of healing and transformation. After experiencing firsthand the profound benefits of holistic health, I felt a deep calling to share this knowledge and empower others to take control of their well-being. My struggles with chronic pain, mental health challenges, and the side effects of conventional medicine led me to explore holistic alternatives, and the results were life-changing.
The name "Zholistic Life" holds special significance. "Zho" is my nickname, given to me by a highly influential professor at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. By combining "Zho" with "holistic," I wanted to emphasize the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit—a philosophy at the core of my approach. Zholistic Life represents a commitment to balanced, intentional living and the pursuit of true wellness.
Through Zholistic Life, my mission is to create a supportive platform where individuals can access resources, guidance, and encouragement to achieve their health goals. It’s about empowering people to reclaim their well-being and embrace a lifestyle rooted in vitality, balance, and faith.

How does your approach to health and wellness differ from what's already out there?
My approach to health and wellness is deeply personal and rooted in lived experience. What makes Zholistic Life unique is its emphasis on the synergy between mind, body, and spirit, all framed within a Christ-centered perspective. Here’s what sets it apart:
First, I bring a deep level of empathy to my work because I’ve walked this journey myself. I understand what it’s like to battle chronic pain, mental health struggles, and the overwhelming frustration of ineffective treatments. This firsthand experience allows me to connect with others on a deeper level.
Second, Zholistic Life takes a holistic, faith-based approach to health. Many wellness programs focus on physical health alone, but I believe true wellness must also address mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. My approach integrates biblical principles with holistic health practices, ensuring that spiritual alignment plays a crucial role in healing and growth.
Third, I emphasize practical and sustainable lifestyle changes. Instead of promoting temporary fixes, I help individuals implement lasting habits, such as plant-based nutrition, mindfulness practices, and faith-based affirmations, that create long-term wellness.
Lastly, my focus is on empowerment. I provide education, tools, and support, but I also encourage self-discovery and personal accountability. Healing isn’t about relying on external solutions—it’s about reclaiming your power to make informed choices for your health.

Can you share a bit about your personal journey with health and what led you to create this company?
Absolutely. My journey has been one of deep struggle and profound transformation. I experienced significant childhood trauma, which led to ongoing battles with depression and PTSD. As I entered adulthood, I developed chronic pain that persisted for ten years. The medications I was prescribed only compounded my suffering with their harsh side effects, leaving me feeling hopeless and lost.
There were moments when the physical and emotional burden felt unbearable. But in my darkest times, I was reminded that God had a greater plan for me. Through faith and perseverance, I was led to holistic healing methods—methods that, over time, completely changed my life.
This transformation ignited a passion within me to help others find their path to healing. I knew that if I could overcome such immense struggles, others could too. Zholistic Life was born from this realization, built on the belief that true wellness comes from addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

What are some of the biggest misconceptions people have about wellness, and how does Zholistic Life challenge those ideas?
One of the biggest misconceptions about wellness is that holistic health is tied to new-age spirituality, such as crystals, energy healing, or chanting. Many assume that holistic practices are incompatible with Christian faith, which often causes hesitation and skepticism.
Zholistic Life challenges this misconception by presenting holistic health through a Christ-centered lens. I believe that holistic living aligns with God’s original design for us—to nourish our bodies, renew our minds, and care for our spirits. I teach wellness principles grounded in biblical truth, reinforcing that faith and holistic health can coexist.
I also address the misconception that wellness is solely about diet and exercise. While nutrition and movement are important, true wellness encompasses mental clarity, emotional resilience, and spiritual growth. My book, Zholistic Life: A Christian Guide to Holistic Health, delves deeper into these concepts, offering practical, faith-based strategies for achieving balance and well-being.

How do you incorporate holistic practices into your company’s philosophy?
Zholistic Life is built on the foundation of holistic health, integrating key principles into every aspect of our philosophy:
  • Mind, Body, and Spirit Connection: We believe true wellness requires harmony between these three elements. Our programs address mental clarity, physical vitality, and spiritual alignment.
  • Christ-Centered Approach: Our teachings and practices are rooted in biblical principles, providing a faith-based framework for holistic living.
  • Education and Empowerment: We equip individuals with the knowledge and tools to take control of their health, offering resources on nutrition, movement, mental wellness, and faith-based healing.
  • Personalized Guidance: Everyone’s journey is unique. We tailor our approach to meet individual needs, providing customized support and encouragement.
  • Sustainable Lifestyle Changes: We promote small, manageable shifts that lead to lasting transformation—simple adjustments in diet, daily movement, and spiritual practices that create profound results.
  • Community and Support: Healing is most effective when done in a supportive environment. We cultivate a community where individuals can connect, learn, and uplift one another.
By staying true to these values, Zholistic Life provides a compassionate, faith-driven approach to holistic health that helps individuals achieve real and lasting wellness.
How do you see Zholistic Life growing in the next few years, and what impact do you hope it will have on people’s lives?
In the coming years, I envision Zholistic Life expanding in several transformative ways:
  • Broader Community Engagement: Hosting wellness retreats, faith-based health workshops, and online events to foster deeper connections and education.
  • Enhanced Programs and Services: Offering specialized coaching, interactive courses, and expanded holistic health content.
  • Stronger Digital Presence: Creating an accessible online platform with virtual classes, wellness challenges, and faith-based healing programs.
  • Strategic Collaborations: Partnering with like-minded organizations, health professionals, and faith leaders to reach and serve a wider audience.
  • Physical Wellness Center: Establishing a dedicated space where individuals can gather, learn, and heal together in a supportive, Christ-centered environment.
Ultimately, my goal is for Zholistic Life to be a source of hope, education, and empowerment. I want people to feel encouraged, equipped, and inspired to take charge of their well-being, knowing they have the tools and community to support them. If I can help others reclaim their health, deepen their faith, and live more fulfilled lives, then Zolistic Life has achieved its mission.

Powerful testimony of a transformed life. It’s a true example of the Word in action. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thou soul prospers”
3 John 1:2
