In a world where dreams are often buried under doubt and delay, some individuals rise with unwavering passion, determined to let their light shine. In this inspiring conversation, we sit down with an actor who understands that storytelling is more than just a career—it's a calling. With a deep love for the craft and a commitment to authenticity, he speaks candidly about his journey, influences, and the vital role the arts play in shaping hearts and minds. Whether you're just starting out or looking for that spark to reignite your own passion, his words are a powerful reminder that with faith, belief, and perseverance, anything is possible.

What advice would you give someone who desires to become an actor?
If acting is your dream, remember—it's never too late to pursue it. You own your destiny, and you have the power to create your own path. The industry can be tough, but if you’re passionate and committed, the doors will open. Start today. Put in the work, stay disciplined, and trust the process. Your journey is uniquely yours—embrace it fully and go after it with everything you’ve got!

Why do you feel that the arts are so important?
The arts are essential because they allow us to express emotions in a way that resonates deeply with others. Actors, in particular, have the ability to tell stories that move, heal, and challenge audiences across the globe. We connect people through shared experiences and emotions, breaking down barriers and building understanding. That kind of impact is powerful—it’s a light in the darkness. The arts help shape the world, and as storytellers, we hold a mirror to society, inspiring change and hope.

What drives you to work as an actor and who has influenced you?
What drives me is my deep love for entertainment—it's something I’ve carried with me since childhood. That passion has never faded; in fact, it grows stronger with time. Acting gives me the opportunity to inspire others, to show the power of faith, perseverance, and self-belief. I want to be a living example that anything is possible when you don’t give up on yourself. As for influences, there are so many greats who have inspired me, but a few stand out—Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Vin Diesel, and Ice Cube. Each of them brings something unique to the screen that has left a lasting impression on me.

Tell us about some of the lessons you've learned during your time in the entertainment industry.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to not just master the craft—but to understand the business. Knowing how to navigate contracts, negotiations, and the professional side of things is just as crucial as your performance on screen. I’ve also learned that opportunities don’t always come twice—so when the door opens, walk through it boldly. And perhaps most importantly: stay true to yourself. In an industry that often pressures people to conform, authenticity is your greatest asset.

What are your thoughts on the contribution of African Americans to the entertainment industry?
African Americans have made monumental contributions to the arts—from our music and culture to the stories we tell that many others shy away from. We bring strength, resilience, and authenticity to the industry. Our journey has often been one of overcoming adversity, yet we’ve continued to innovate and lead in powerful ways. Our presence in entertainment is not just important—it’s necessary. We are storytellers, creators, visionaries—and our voices deserve to be heard, celebrated, and respected.

Can’t wait to see my brother in films and more. He’s the definition of hard work does pay off and he would definitely be a super natural breakthrough entertainer in the near future. Very talented brother and I will definitely be supporting him in all he does. Big shouts out to you my guy. Love to see it.
